The Makeshift Magazine front cover (above) wasn’t illustrated in my regular style. I was waiting for the opportunity to illustrate an editorial piece, when we were all asked to have a think on design for type for the front cover. I sat and doodled something loose, yet similar to what is above. underneath is a hand drawn logo for the Southbank Centre, unfortunately it was never used as the magazine needed official branding.
Above is a crap photograph of the magazine using my camera phone, Below is an example of the design and layout for the interior to the magazine. It also has a wonderful illustration by the talented Zoe Barker (http://zoebarkerdraws.com/)
